Medicare

As I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, my clients, if deemed appropriate by a General Practitioner Doctor, (GP), are eligible for a Medicare rebate towards my clinical appointments fees.

Of course, Medicare have strict guidelines on how the service is delivered to be covered by Medicare - an example is Anxiety treatment which is covered under Medicare. But treating anxiety by hypnotherapy is not covered under Medicare.

I take my commitments to Medicare very seriously. I do not waiver from their guidelines in your treatment. Please be mindful that I do charge a gap fee of $142.90 payable on the day.

Reduced fees depending on extreme circumstances, can discussed. This will depend on availability as well.

Ask us what is claimable under Medicare with a Social Worker. Your referring doctor will also know this.
