SELF LOVE IS
"The best thing we can do for our relationships with others is to render our relationships to ourselves more conscious.  This is not a narcissistic activity. In fact, it will prove to be the most loving thing we can do for others.  The greatest gift to others is our own best selves. Thus, paradoxically, if we serve the relationship well, we are obliged to affirm our individual journey."

WHO AM I AND WHY CAN I HELP

Hi, there! My name is Linda Thomson and I am just like you - blessed to be a neurodivergent person. Though I have not always felt it was a blessing and I am sure that most of you can relate to that.

I loved school, purely for the social side, but academically - forget it.  I struggled as an undiagnosed dyslexic and I acted out.  This eventually led to me getting asked to leave college which, in turn, led me to years of unsettling casual roles before I headed to university where I achieved a couple of Masters's Degrees.  I know firsthand self-love and the internal battles and struggles that you face with having such diversity which can be damaging to your self-esteem and sense of self as I have been there - big time!  I heard the words “self-love” so many times but I did not understand what it meant to embody it, to practice it, and what it would ever feel like to live from a place of self-love firsthand and self-compassion.

Looking out at the world from a place of diminished self-worth I have made my fair share of mistakes which only led to further damaging my sense of self-worth.  I have always been a person that needed to make the mistakes myself as I do not tend to learn from others - oh no, I had to live them out to their full fruition!  I am sure that I am not alone here right?

Further into my career, together with my passion as a book nerd with a personal and professional love of learning, I started to understand myself better.  I learned how my lack of self-worth and self-love had played a starring role in my life and, boy, was I over that!  I combined my extensive tertiary education with my personal life experiences and embarked on an inner journey of self-repair.  I started to see changes in my life and started to hold myself in higher regard and, yes, develop self-love and, most of all, self-compassion and acceptance.  In fact, I started to embody it and it started to reflect positively in all areas of my life.

I have known for a long time, and found in my private practice, that the most important relationship is the one with yourself.  I have become very skilled at teaching others the importance of self-love and how to embody it however it still was not totally conducive to my own life.  This is when I embarked on a journey to help neurodiverse people to fill their lives and help them to learn to bask in the warm and fuzzy feeling of self-love and witness how their life expands from there and this is why I have developed this online course with group coaching to help you get your groove back!

Please let me show you the way, as it is now very well lit for me, and I wish to pass the torch on to you or help you carry it!
